How to reduce chemo pain?

Muscle pain

Myalgia or muscle pain is very common, especially in breast cancer treatments.

They appear between the 2nd and 7th day after chemo, depending on the type of chemo performed.

Foot reflexology is an essential tool to help you get through these difficult times and allow you to achieve good muscle relaxation.

Some nutritional advice:

  • Avoid acidic foods (e.g. tomatoes, citrus fruits, overly acidic fruits)
  • Avoid red meats and cold cuts
  • Avoid dairy products which can be acidifying
  • Limit your consumption of tea and coffee

Back pain, sciatica and cruralgia:

These pains may appear during treatment. Just as with muscle pain, foot reflexology can also significantly alleviate your pain. My nutritional advice is the same as for muscle pain.

Naturopath Advice:

To relieve painful areas, I advise you to apply as desired.

  • Clay poultices
  • Castor oil poultices
  • And to have a reflexology session with a reflexologist specializing in oncology
  • Indeed, foot reflexology is extremely effective on these types of symptoms.

The foot is a miniaturized representation of the human body.

Each "reflex zone" corresponds to a specific organ, gland or part of the body. For more information on foot reflexology Click here
